We are not only what we eat, we are all that we consume. We are so fortunate to have so much information available, but discernment in what we feed our brains is paramount to producing good ideas, and to being open enough to understanding the experiences of others.
So here is where I hope to serve your whole health by delivering quality articles that educate, inspire, and articulate the human condition so we can stay in reality and curiosity. Plus art + beauty +  LOLZ.

                                                  Here we go.

1. Art saves and soothes. Something beautiful can be made out of anything. These intricate trees cut from old McDonalds paper bags are more proof.

2. Science is actually proving that the quality of our relationships is directly related to our success. Let us love ourselves and each other well.

3. Have you heard about this Canadian 15 year old who discovered the location of an ancient Mayan city? Whelp, now you have. Humans can be a real wonderment when they aren’t being insufferable.

4. In the absence of the proverbial ‘village’, mothers struggle most.

5. Having “done time” in prison, I am profoundly fascinated with the function, texture, feel, reality, and malleability of time. I mean, AREN’T YOU???  This post from Brain Pickings (of course) on The Psychology of Time and the Paradox of How Impulsivity and Self-Control Mediate Our Capacity for Presence.

6. This ancient mosaic in Turkey reads, “Be Cheerful and Live Your Life!”

7. It’s gotten so popular to blame Mercury Retrograde for the clusterfuck that seems to ensue every time it happens. (Dude. I see it too. Every damn time.) But I really appreciated this article, a reminder that it 1. isn’t all about us and our dearly beloved troubles 2. Mercury Retrograde isn’t all that interested in kicking your ass, and 3. It *is* actually about slowing down, taking stock, looking inward. And that’s a thing I can get on board with (and sometimes need my electronics to break in order to be reminded).

8. Where the lovely Kristen Bell opens up about living with depression and anxiety. The more we see the beautiful, creative people living it, maybe the more we can acknowledge how “normal” it actually is? In fact, “Depression + Anxiety” is kind of the new “Not A Sociopath”. :::looking at you, Capitalism:::

9. What it looks like when old school punk rockers carry on living normal lives. THE DRUMMER OF THE CLASH IS A FREAKING CHIROPRACTOR, YOU GUYS.

10. These hilariously honest sticky notes about the realities of adulthood.

Have feels about the reading? Tell us in the comments. Or just say hello. I love hearing from you.
